We invite our Arizona Mayors to join the Pickens Plan

We urge all our Arizona Mayors to endorse the Pickens Plan
 
It will help our local economy, citizens and businesses!
Arizona is a great place for Solar Energy and some Wind Energy.
We need to get off imported oil, and natural gas is a great, clean, cheaper and domestic alternative for vehicle fuel.
Building natural gas infrastructure in Arizona is the right thing to do and will put money back in to Arizona and
Arizona businesses!  We need to build business in Arizona, wind, solar and natural gas will help us all and we can
save people money on fuel, build employment and help our air quality!
That's my 2 cents on the issue.

Bismarck mayor endorses 'Pickens Plan'

Billionaire Texas oilman T. Boone Pickens says Bismarck Mayor John Warford is the first mayor in North Dakota to endorse his plan for easing the U.S. dependence on foreign oil.

The so-called "Pickens Plan" aims to cut the country's dependence on foreign oil by putting up wind turbines to replace power produced from natural gas. That would leave more natural gas to power vehicles that now use gasoline and diesel.

Pickens says about 160 mayors in the U.S. have endorsed his plan.
