Big Turn out for the Tucson Expo!
We had a booth along with other NGV providers- San Tan Honda, Chapman Honda, Wondries Ford, Natural Drive and Echo Tech
With the following natural gas vehicles on display- CNG Honda GX, Chev Impala, Ford Focus, Ford F-250 and Crown Vic Interceptor.
Thanks to all those who stopped by the booth and said hi!
We also had members of the Pickens Plan there signing up new members
The highlight of the day (well actually there were several, including meeting Rich Kolodziej from NGV America) was when Mayor Lynne Skelton of Sahuarita stopped by the booth and signed on to the Pickens Plan!

Although it does still spread the dis-information that the Honda GX is only available in CA and NY, it tells of several stumbling blocks to NGV use
which are mostly created by our own government in the USA.
(The Honda GX is available at over 150 Honda Dealerships nationwide, including Chandler and Tucson in Arizona)
President Obama doubles tax credit for home fueling and raises tax credit for public stations
Along with the Stimulus Package, President Obama doubled the tax credit for installing home alternative fueling equipment
from $1000.00 to $2,000.00. He also raised the tax credit for installing public alternative fueling facilities from $30,000.00 to $50,000.00.

Both Echo Tech and BAF Technologies are courting Ford Dealers to convert and sell their conversions with Ford products.
Please ask you Ford Dealer to become an outlet for Natural gas Vehicles. Wondries Ford in California currently has 50 CNG vehicles
in stock with the BAF System, they displayed a Ford F-250 and a Crown Vic Police Interceptor at the Tucson Expo in cooperation with
Jim Click Ford. Please talk it up with your Ford Dealer so they know there is some interest. Echo Tech is looking also for Ford Dealers
to market their conversion of the Ford Focus and soon to be certified Fusion!
ASK YOUR CHEVY DEALER For CNG!
Natural Drive which has certification of the Impala conversion and soon to have the suburban and Chevy PU certification are also looking
for Chevrolet dealers to market their GM conversions with their new vehicles along with other conversion companies.
They are also trying to get into a seamless sales process, especially when some of the government bidding guidelines require the vehicles
to come as a package ready to go from the dealer. Natural Drive recently received an order for 60 natural gas vehicles from the State of Oklahoma.
Of Course there are already 2 Honda Dealers that are ready for you to Order Your CNG!
The Honda GX, the only factory built NGV in America can be ordered from Jerry at San Tan Honda in Chandler and Fred from Chapman Honda in Tucson
1 CNG Truck up for auction at Manheims on the 20th
Manheims will hold its regular GSA auction of surplus federal government vehicles on the 20th, they have one CNG truck on the auction list.
A 2001, bifuel CNG Ford F-150 Pickup. The GSA auctions at Manheim's are open to the public. You can track alt fuel vehicles coming up for auction at www.autoauctions.gsa.gov
